Several weeks later, she is complete. It only took me one draft and a little snipping on the original drafted pattern to get the desired shape. However, I made her a smidgen too big for me, so I had to take it in on the sides of the center back lacing. In retrospect, I should have stitched boning channels for the bones through the outer layer as well, which I think would take down the wrinkling And maybe add in more bones. Which I can always do, but not now. I spent about four hours or more yesterday applying the two-piece eyelets (there are 72). My fingertips are killing me. Overall, I am pleased with this design, minus the wrinkling, which I think I can fix. Oh! And I made my own bias tape for the first time
I believe with embroidery and mess-ups included, this took around 40 hours.
